The evolution of technology reached even in medical field.  There are many technologically enhanced medical gadgets and apparatus that greatly made a difference in the medical world.  Even in surgery, there exist robots assisting medical practitioners carry on with their jobs.  It is being directed by the trained surgeon.  These robots provide exact motion and trajectories to lessen side effects and errors of surgical process.  It also allows the surgeon to view the patient anatomy well, thus providing smaller incisions.  The surgical procedure with this computer assisted robots can be done in Neurosurgery, radio surgery, orthopedic surgery, radiotherapy, prostatectomy, endoscopy, laparoscopy, cardiac surgery, and even craniofascial surgery.  There is a longer surgery time to achieve the desired outcome.  There is a need for more anesthesias since more time is increase but the results are far better than the traditional procedure.  Trained doctors and surgeons are the only one permitted to use these robots.
