Few sports men and sports women in the world buy steroids and other drugs illegally as a means to improve their sports performance and to boost their body mass. A recent research also reveals that weightlifters, bodybuilders and other sports persons continue to use drugs and/or anabolic steroids without the prescription by doctors.

Several cases of steroid abuse have been caught in the field of sports. Sports foundations suspend the sports personalities who are found to make steroid abuse. They punish the steroid abusers based on the level of violation of their policy. They also punish sports personalities who are found to illegally buy steroids online.
